Sterling China Japan Lusterware Gold Overlay high Gloss Metallic Finish Teapot

Creamy white  color, but the lusterware aspect of the finish has faint suggestions of lavender and aqua, an iridescent play as it reflects the light. The handles, rims, base, spouts, and tops of the lids are all finished with 22k gold overlay which is brushed from the top edge of the teapot,  creating a gold “shadow” effect. There are gold leaves and vines. clusters of small deep pink roses  with green leaves. The rims are an uneven scallop design, and the shallow, gold base  are uniformly scalloped in shape.
