The style is of 1825 and they are still making glass today. It is known as the Kluk Kluk (in Danish) or Glug Glug (in English) referencing the sound it makes when the liquid is poured from it.
The bottom is marked “Federal Law Prohibits Sale” manufactured in the Post-Prohibition Era (1940s – 1964 when the law was repealed), which is why this inscription was required to be placed on all American whiskey bottles after the end of prohibition. This requirement lasted until 1964 after which whiskey bottles no longer carried this inscription. (Bottles were made with inscription between 1932-1964)
